Wild Adventure in Las Cahorros (Granada) with Homemade Paella

Join us for a magical Andaluz experience in the mountains and valley area around Granada called Los Cahorros near the quaint village of Monachil.

Los Cahorros, a sweeping dramatic gorge, is in the lush Monachil valley with River Monachil running through it.

Our fun walk will take you along the winding wild river and through (and over) the beautiful Las Cahorros gorge, complete with amazing views, delicious fruit trees, wild flowers and herbs to pick, fun dipping pools to splash in, majestic rocks to clamber over and around, narrow caves and tunnels to crawl through or around while you walk along the acequias (Moorish irrigation channels) and across the famous (and totally safe) hanging bridges, all while the blissful serenity of the natural beauty envelops and inspires you.

After this unforgettable walk, replenish your energy with the authentic taste of homemade Spanish Paella in the wild natural park of Los Llanos, Monachil over looking gorgeous Granada and the Sierra Nevada mountains and you might even come across a goat herd or two! Cave-dwelling local, Sousa, will cook a delicious traditional paella for you (vegetarian/vegan) and serve it in this beautiful setting after your appetite-inducing walk where you can rest and take in the full experience of the day.
